Job Description

The Revenue Optimization Manager will be responsible for conducting an in-depth analysis of customer portfolios to identify revenue growth opportunities, providing insights to support revenue-related decisions, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of Ocra’s revenue optimization offering.   

You’ll develop a deep familiarity with our products, partners, and target customers – impacting our customer’s parking revenue strategies to drive sustainable GMV to their assets.

At Ocra, the Revenue Optimization Manager function encompasses:

  • High-Level Technical Understanding
    • Be an expert in how the platform works, ready to solve for use cases out of the box, & know how to effectively communicate the best practices of utilizing demand channels in the parking industry.

  • Customer Analytics
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer portfolios to identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and process improvements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights to support revenue-related decisions.
    • Develop and present comprehensive reports on the performance of external operations, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations.

  • Operations Support
    • Oversee the day-to-day execution of revenue optimization for customers, ensuring smooth functioning and maximum efficiency.
    • Act as the first line of contact for operators and asset owners, establishing effective communication channels, facilitating collaborative efforts, and creating value from the Ocra platform.
    • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Financial Operations
    • Review regular rate analysis of channels in significant markets or as needed using our rate comparison tools, identifying pricing strategies to maximize revenue while considering market dynamics and competition.
    • Propose and implement pricing adjustments and promotional strategies based on data-driven insights.
    • Work with the accounting team & C-suite on high-level decisions impacting the organization related to revenue and expenses

  • Subject Matter Expertise
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, market shifts, seasonal variations, and vertical-specific developments that could impact the company’s revenue streams.
    • Provide strategic recommendations to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate potential risks.
    • Analyze revenue data in the broader context of the industry and market to identify long-term growth strategies and improve the company’s competitive positioning.

  • Proven experience in revenue management, preferably in a similar industry or role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the industry, market trends, and best practices in operations management
  • You’re diplomatic and can determine when to dive in and when to push back
  • You can translate features into outcomes and tell the story of our platform in a way that addresses the actual concerns, fears, pain points, and goals of our customers and prospects
  • You are hyper-organized, work well independently, can manage your own time, and take ownership of problem-solving
