It’s a privilege to share Ocra’s momentum and milestones with you every month in our newsletter. This year, in particular, there has been so much to celebrate.

From launching Version 2.0 of our platform to onboarding hundreds of locations, being first-time NPA exhibitors, growing our brand footprint, and nearly doubling the size of our team, it’s been a sensational 2022.

Headed into 2023, I am energized, honored, and thankful. Thankful for my team, for our partners, and for our industry, where the appetite for innovation and partnerships is stronger than ever.

I hope that your holidays are restful, and I’m looking forward to accelerating even faster together in January.

Highlight: New Website & Blog!

Following our rebrand in Q4 2021 to Ocra*, we launched a new website in Q1 2022, which includes our Parking Technology Blog. Designed to be lightweight and informative, it’s packed with resources for operators, demand channels, and technology partners.

*We’re not in a gumbo**, and we’re not headlining in any shows at Seaworld, either 😉

“Ocra” stands for “One Click Rate Adjustment”, which is the name of the centralized rate management feature we built for ourselves when we were event operators, and one of the first solutions that we validated with and rolled out to our partners.

**Mmmm, gumbo.

Team Announcement: Introducing Avarie!

Avarie Anderson, Product Support Lead

We’re thrilled to finally announce that Avarie Anderson, previously Director of Operations at Peak Parking, has joined Ocra as Product Support Lead.

Working as an operator for 6 years, she saw the good, the bad and the ugly, and set out to be among those who changed it for the better. She’s looking forward to teaming up with our partners to help them get the best outcomes and most utility out the Ocra platform.
